Although the Internet is known as a revolution, it has also led to many revolutions in various fields of technology. One of the most important recent developments is the IoT, or the Internet of Things, which, like many other developments, owes its existence to the Internet. The Internet of Things is a new approach to connecting devices to each other. This systematic connection of devices by collecting useful data and information and analyzing them provides a new experience of faster automation between devices and creating a more efficient and informed environment for people. Given that the presence of the Internet of Things in everyday life will be significant in the near future, scientific and technical investors can create new jobs by investing in this field. Scientific research in this field is growing rapidly in Iran and the world. In this regard, artificial intelligence is the real driving force for using the full potential of the Internet of Things. There are four major markets that the combination of AI and IoT will impact: wearables, smart homes, smart cities, and smart industries. Numerous innovations in the field of IoT and AI promise extraordinary advances in various industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, supply chain, etc. By combining these two technologies, which is called AI of Things, we will witness a revolution in all sectors and industries. The combination of AI and IoT can redefine how industries, businesses, and the economy operate. The application of AI in IoT creates intelligent machines that simulate intelligent behaviors and enable decision-making with little or no human intervention.
The Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Isfahan and the Faculty of Engineering at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad are among the pioneers of scientific activity in the field of IoT in the country. Holding various workshops and meetings by inviting foreign and domestic researchers, setting up related specialized laboratories, and holding the previous eight sessions of this conference are examples of these activities. In this regard, the Faculty of Computer Engineering, University of Isfahan, is proud to host the ninth edition of this annual conference in the fall of 1404, in collaboration with Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The organizing committee of this conference sincerely invites all respected researchers, academics, students, industrial companies, and government organizations interested and experienced in the field of Internet of Things to attend and participate in this conference.
