While the internet is recognized as a revolution in itself, it has also spurred numerous revolutions across various technological fields. One of the most significant recent developments is the Internet of Things (IoT), which, like many other advancements, owes its existence to the internet. IoT represents a novel approach to connecting devices to each other. This organized connectivity, through the collection and analysis of useful data and information, provides a new experience of faster automation between devices and creates a more efficient and intelligent environment for people. Given that the presence of IoT in daily life will be substantial in the near future, scientific and technical investors can create new jobs by investing in this area. Scientific research in this field is rapidly growing in Iran and worldwide. In this regard, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the real driving force for utilizing the full potential of IoT. There are four major markets impacted by the combination of AI and IoT: wearable gadgets, smart homes, smart cities, and smart industries. Numerous innovations in IoT and AI promise extraordinary advancements in various industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, supply chain, and more. By combining these two technologies, known as the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), we will witness a revolution in all sectors and industries. The integration of AI and IoT can redefine how industries, businesses, and economies operate. Applying AI to IoT creates smart machines that simulate intelligent behaviors and enable decision-making with little to no human intervention.

The Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Isfahan and the Faculty of Engineering at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad are considered pioneers in scientific activities related to the Internet of Things in Iran. Examples of these activities include organizing various workshops and meetings with national and international researchers, establishing specialized related laboratories, and holding eight previous editions of this conference. In line with this, the Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Isfahan is honored to host the 9th annual edition of this conference in the autumn of 2025, in collaboration with Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The organizing committee of this conference cordially invites all esteemed researchers, academics, students, industrial companies, and government organizations interested and experienced in the field of the Internet of Things to participate and contribute to this conference.
